Under the age of 17 (as of December 31), all you need is a valid USA Hockey Registration

National Level Background Screening PolicyIn compliance with requirements from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), USA Hockey has implemented a national level background screening policy, which can be found in full below.
Please note, Pennsylvania residents and those participating in USA Hockey sanctioned events within the state are required to complete the state of Pennsylvania mandated clearances in addition to the NCSI criminal background screen. Click here to learn more or find additional information below.
NCSI began the National Screening Program for USA Hockey in April 2020. While you may have a screening from before that, it was likely not with NCSI, please be sure to click that this is your first time screening with NCSI if your last screening was before then.
